System Leadership Board meets on Thursday November 1st
The North Cumbria Health and Care System Leadership Board (SLB) meets on Thursday November 1.
This is where health partners meet together to implement the system-wide vision for the North Cumbria Health and Care System. Members of the System Leadership Board (SLB) review and gain assurances from partners on the delivery of supporting strategies, as well as plans and programmes of work across health and care.
The chief officers and chairs of the NHS North Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group, Cumbria Partnership Foundation NHS Trust and North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust sit on SLB with other senior officers and non-executive directors and lay members.
Cumbria County Council has representatives on SLB who will be able to inform and influence key decisions, as part of contributing to the plans and strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of our local population. However, the county council’s democratic and governance processes will continue to be followed when taking decisions.
The bi-monthly meetings are held in public and members of the public can ask questions at the end of part one about issues on the agenda.
The agenda and supporting public papers are published 3 days before the meeting and can be found here: http://www.northcumbriahealthandcare.nhs.uk/making-it-happen/system-leadership-board-slb/
The meeting is being held on Thursday Nov 1st at 10.30 am at the LEP Conference Centre, Redhills, Penrith
